The association Voice of Ezidis, co-founded in Paris in 2019 by survivors of the 2014 genocide perpetrated by the so-called Islamic State, is committed to the support of the Ezidi community, both in France, where some refugee families have fled since the beginning of the genocide, and in Iraq, where a lot of Ezidis still reside. Voice of Ezidis defends the rights of the Ezidi people and advocates for the awareness and recognition of the genocide it endured in 2014.
Educational Center in Sinjar
In partnership with Shingal Charity Organization, EagleWatch Foundation and Fundacja Pomocy Dzieciom we are building an educational center on the Sinjar Mountain.

The center aims at fostering education for women and girls on the top of the Sinjar Moutain.
Ezidi people living on the mountain have been staying there for over 6 years, since the beginning of the genocide on the 3rd of August 2014. While some organizations started building some centers, there is very few infrastructures.
As part of our will to revive the Sinjar region, we are focusing on providing education and opportunities to the most vulnerable populations. We began the construction of the center at the beginning of 2020 and is soon to be completed.
Once the center will be open, it will provide Arabic and English classes in order to be proficient in both languages orally and writing. The estimated number of beneficiaries is evaluated at 200 women, but we strive to welcome everyone who desires and can attend these courses.
